The 2018 Chablis Vaillons 1er Cru conveys a sense of airiness on the nose of pressed flowers, touches of clementine and background marzipan and nougat aromas. The palate is well balanced with a welcome touch of sour lemon on the entry. Not a deep Vaillons, nor is there immense length. In fact, this is quite linear in style, although it lacks a bit of substance on the finish. Fine, but I would drink this over the next 5–7 years. 90pts Vinous - Neal Martin
